Our Kite® Suite platform is a comprehensive assessment system designed to support content delivery, management of candidate data, and delivery of assessments through a secure, web-based system. The Kite Suite runs on a secure platform using Amazon Web Services (AWS)–managed services. The Kite Suite has cross-platform, multiple-device usability, enabling candidates with a wide range of tools to access assessments.
ATS and KFRTI have a unique partnership bringing a wealth of expertise together to address system design, test delivery, accessibility, reporting, program management, and customer service. We firmly believe that our job is to help our clients realize their goals.
Kite Content Portal
Kite Content Portal is our content-management application. It features a robust and customizable metadata approach to banking content, which is highly machine readable and searchable, and allows programs to quickly develop the desired certification forms. Through Kite Content Portal, AAI-ATS and KFRTI are ingesting the item banks from the International Fire Service Training Association (IFSTA) and Jones & Bartlett (J&B) for all exams. Clients are then given their own repository to edit/delete items from the master bank to create your own custom bank for creating test forms.
Kite Educator Portal
Kite Educator Portal, a secure web-based application, is the test-management platform that will be used by certification personnel in the administration of certification tests, including managing candidate information and demographics, conducting candidate and user enrollment, monitoring activity, and tracking results.
Kite Student Portal
Kite Student Portal is the platform where candidates take assessments. It provides candidates with a simple, secure, web-based interface with candidate-friendly intuitive graphics. The system, which was built with accessibility in mind, adapts to individual candidate needs. A large array of tools, including magnification, color overlay, calculators, highlighters, scratch pad, and reference materials, are available to candidates. Other tools, such as auditory calming and a text-to-speech tool, can be enabled through a candidate’s profile. While taking an assessment, Kite Student Portal provides candidates with flexibility in navigating through test content and flagging questions for review. Candidates can move forward, backward, or skip questions using “Next” and “Back” buttons and the top navigation bar.
